Author of “The Four Tendencies,” Gretchen Rubin, published an article in 2020 entitled “The Opposite of Meditation Is…Recess & I Need More Recess.” While the article is mostly about giving yourself a break from the pressure of meditation, I also thought it was a nice reflection on the importance of knowing yourself and what works for you, going into summer.
