Children’s House
Having created the foundations of their personality, three-year-old children arrive in the prepared environment ready to develop and perfect their abilities. They learn best through real-life activities that support independence.

The Children’s House (Primary/Preschool Program) is a three-year program for preschool children 3 to 6 years of age. On occasion, children who are fully toilet-trained may begin at 2 ½ years of age, and in this case, the child may be in the Children’s House Program for four years, rather than three. Children who stay beyond noon eat lunch in their Montessori classroom before napping (as applicable) or exploring their interests further in their Montessori classroom in the afternoon.

The Children’s House After School (CHAS) program is for students in the Children’s House classrooms whose parents are seeking care beyond the regular Montessori program. Our CHAS teachers provide a warm and stimulating play environment. This program complements your child’s experiences in the Montessori environment. Children spend time pursuing interests such as blocks, arts and crafts, creative dramatics, outdoor play and much more!
