Individualized Tuition
MCMS recognizes that each family’s circumstances differ.
At MCMS we value the unique contribution each student makes to our community. Representation of families across the full range of the economic spectrum broadens perspectives, enriches our community, and enhances the educational and social-emotional experience for both children and adults.
Individualized tuition allows us to match tuition to your family’s financial circumstances. Currently, over 45% of families pay an individualized tuition amount and we are pleased to report that for the 25-26 academic year, MCMS offered individualized tuition rates to 100% of families who qualified.

Individualized Tuition is available for children enrolled in the Children’ House through Adolescent programs. To help us objectively assess what a family is able to contribute to education expenses, MCMS uses FAST, a trusted third party as the baseline for our individual tuition determinations.

Families who have already completed the application process and received an admissions letter may complete the third-party verification process to determine their individual rate. This applies to Children’s House through Adolescent programs only.

The FAST system asks for information regarding family income and other obligations including the number of people in your household. Individualized tuition rates are based not only by need, but by funds available by the school.

All forms regarding individualized tuition must be completed and filed by April 15. Announcements regarding your family’s tuition rate for the following school year will be communicated between April 16 and May 1 via email by the Director of Finance and Operations.

Once you accept the tuition offer, your rate is set for the year. However, because family circumstances are often fluid, families must have an individual tuition rate determined each year.
