Come and join our warm & welcoming community in our state-of-the-art school building, built specifically for our Montessori needs, located on a 2.5 acre, beautiful, pastoral property. Our non-profit school serves nearly 140 students, from 15 months to 14 years of age, in nine classrooms (1 Toddler, 3 Children’s House, 1 Lower Elementary, 1 Upper Elementary, and 1 Adolescent) guided by our committed, long-term, AMI-trained faculty, who are supported by both an AMI-trained Head of School and an AMI-trained Director of Education.

  • We are seeking a passionate and collaborative educator to join our Adolescent Program, serving students ages 12–15 in a dynamic Montessori environment. This role is ideal for someone who values experiential learning, community engagement, and supporting students through a critical stage of personal and academic development. Special interest in history, language arts and social studies is a bonus.

    We are an AMI private, nonprofit school rooted in Montessori principles, emphasizing independence, responsibility, and meaningful work. The Adolescent Guide will support students in interdisciplinary studies, project-based learning, and real-world applications, while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. Must be able to supervise three separate week long trips with students as well as drive to local events and support the student led business.

    Responsibilities include:

    Guiding students academically, socially, and emotionally
    Supporting project-based and experiential learning
    Collaborating with colleagues to design integrated curriculum
    Building strong relationships with students and families
    Contributing to a respectful, organized, and engaging learning environment

    Qualifications:
    Experience working with adolescents (ages 12–15)
    Montessori AMI certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
    Strong communication and collaboration skills
    A commitment to Montessori philosophy and whole-child education
