Please see below for more information on application fees, deposits, annual fees, ^annual tuition, *overnight enrichment experiences, sibling discounts, and financial aid.
Application Fees are non-refundable fees to be submitted upon application or re-application to MCMS and are not applied to tuition rates:
- New students = $100
- Returning students = $50
Deposits are due with submission of signed Enrollment & Tuition Contracts. Deposits are rolled over from year to year until a child completes his/her educational experience at MCMS. Deposits are refunded only after completion of a full school year and payment of full annual tuition costs, including any incidental charges, typically in the month of July following the completed school year.
Annual Fees are non-refundable and include program related costs, such as classroom supplies/materials, paper products, snack/milk, most off-campus day trips and transportation. Annual fees are included in each family’s first invoice of the school year, which typically occurs in August.
^Annual Tuition may be paid in 1 installment (August), in 2 equal installments (August & January), or 10 equal installments (August – May). Families should select payment preference on the Enrollment & Tuition Contract; if none selected, 10 equal installments is assumed. Beginning in 2021-22, annual tuition rates will vary slightly depending on installment plan selected.
*Overnight Enrichment Experiences: Upper Elementary (UE) and Adolescent (AD) students also participate in overnight enrichment experiences each year, which is part of the school’s overall curriculum; UE attends one week, typically in September and AD attends three one-week trips, typically in September, April and May. Charges for these experiences are set by outside facilities and are invoiced to the participating families by the school per the payment option selected on Enrollment and Tuition Contracts (i.e. 1-installment, 2-installments, 10-installments) regardless of attendance. The average fee for each week is about $355. Financial aid offers through MCMS do not cover these additional charges; however, payment plans may be made by contacting the MCMS Director of Finance and Operations.
Sibling Discount: A 10% discount is applied to Montessori tuition invoices for younger siblings from the same family. Sibling discounts do not apply to child care, annual fees, deposits or other charges.
Financial Aid: Limited funds are available each school year for qualifying families who need financial assistance. Please visit our website for more information about our financial aid program.
